Join us for an in-depth look at the work of this incredible film-maker as we journey from his teenage beginnings with some faithful friends next door, through to the huge success of his star-studded ensemble Hollywood movies. From hotel concierges to beleaguered scout leaders; from crowded Indian train carriages to the darkest of foxholes; from the depths of the ocean to the stars in the sky; this journey will be full of angst, anxiety, oddballs, pastel-coloured clothes and Portuguese David Bowie covers!
