Kristen Toomey

​Kristen Toomey’s comedy career began in Chicago in 2008 and since then she’s become a beloved fixture on the city’s stand-up scene. Her commanding stage presence and energetic, expressive, truthful style of comedy are just a few of the reasons she was named “Best Chicago Comedian” for the second time in 2025 and The A.V. Club called her “a Chicago original.” Her 2019 debut comedy album reached #1 on iTunes, her “Modern Parenting” clip has 21MM views on Instagram, and she will be releasing her debut comedy special, “Shriller” later this year. She’s appeared on Comedy in Color on Peacock, Don’t Tell Comedy, and NBC’s Chicago Med, and she can be seen headlining clubs and festivals all over North America.
