Letβs help start the Manchester pride weekend off with a big colourful bang! π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
Wear whatever you wish- pride is all about people being their true selves. However we highly encourage you to wear all the colours of the pride flag, by being bright we can clearly show our community that we welcome everyone at parkrun. So if you want to wear sequins, feathers, tutus, drag, flags, then this is the parkrun for youβ¦ just remember you need to compete 5km in it or volunteer in it π
Pride is so important, itβs more than the partying and the sequins. So many people in the UK and the world still feel unable to, or are prevented from, being who they are. Pride is a joyful protest where we make it clear that everyone is welcome in our society. That is the case at parkrun. However you identify, whoever you love, whether you walk, jog, run or volunteer.
