Luna Li visits Amoeba Hollywood on Tuesday, August 12th for a live performance and LP signing to celebrate the release of her new, expanded "When a Thought Grows Wings (Reimagined)" album (out August 8th).

Luna Li is a Korean-Canadian Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter. Li’s 2022 debut LP 'Duality" and her 2024 sophomore album "When a Thought Grows Wings" both garnered a Juno Award nomination for Alternative Album of the Year. "When a Thought Grows Wings" was produced by Monsune (SZA, Drake) and Andrew Lappin (L’Rain). Classically trained, Luna Li plays at least seven different instruments.
Now, nearly a year after its original release, Luna Li returns to "When a Thought Grows Wings" – not to revise, but to expand. "When a Thought Grows Wings (Reimagined)" brings together a constellation of Li’s valued collaborators and favorite artists: Hope Tala, Mei Semones, MAVI, HOMESHAKE, Wallice, tg.blk, and Raveena. Each one lends a unique perspective to Li’s sonic world, offering new dimensions to each composition. The record also includes “You Didn’t Have To Go,” a bonus track that serves as a tender parting note, and a new series of her signature “jams”: intimate, looped instrumentals that made Li a quiet icon of bedroom magic.
