Join us to learn about Open Streets Macon!

Come learn about the upcoming Open Streets Macon program that will connect Pleasant Hill to Beall's Hill on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 2-6pm.

Whether you’re excited to participate or just want to learn more, stop by Tattnall Square Park for free pizza and popsicles and discover how you can get involved in this exciting community event!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀?
For one day, Monroe St., Tattnall St., and Oglethorpe St. will be closed to cars. This means people can meet neighbors, walk, bike, dance, and play safely in the street!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼?
Bike Walk Macon is hosting this event with the Macon-Bibb County Reimaging the Civic Commons Committee, Commissioner Paul Bronson, and your neighbors from Pleasant Hill, Tattnall Heights, and Beall’s Hill. We'll also be adding traffic calming interventions to make streets safer for walking and biking - even after the event!
