TYO's 60th Anniversary Concert: Launceston

TYO is turning 60 and it's time to celebrate – with a very special Launceston concert! The program is a sparkler, with both new works and some much-loved old favourites...

– Margrit Kits arr. Laura Jēkabsone: Ilus Hääl.
– Paul Jarman: 'The Mountain' and 'Forest of Dreams' from 'The Mountain Cycle', with orchestrations commissioned by TYO.
– Giuseppe Verdi: Grand March from 'Aida'.
– Antonin Dvořák: Symphony No. 9 'New World'.

Join the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra and the TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale under the direction of TYO Chief Conductor Thomas Rimes, TYO Associate Conductor Alexander Rodrigues and TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale Conductor Madeleine Dyer; and Devonport's Crescendo Choir, under the direction of Conductor Dominique Baker.
