Dog Day of August at Greyhound Friends

We're celebrating International Dog Day this year with a fun gathering of friends & neighbors, dog people and most especially - dogs! Admission is FREE. Everyone is welcome.

Come, bring your (well-behaved & sociable) pups, and enjoy some special treats. Sample "spa day" treats; cooling pools; frozen pup-cups and snacks; cool drinks; games, fun runs, and bubbles; raffles and more.

Take time to pamper your pooch as well as yourself, and meet other dog lovers in our community. Representatives from other local shelters are invited. Furget Me Not rescue is bringing some of their adoptable local podengos to meet prospective adopters! You can visit with our adoptables in the kennel too.

Local vendors for pet & people products will include Classy Couch Potatoes handmade houndwear, Happy Hounds Soap plant based skin care, Bunny’s Boxes handcrafts, Pawsitively Hooked on Enrichment pet toys, Dabble fabric home goods, eLowDeSIgNs hand-crafted greeting cards, and the Greyson Hound Foster Fund selling creative dog themed merchandise.
