August Full Moon Hike

August's full moon is known as the Sturgeon Moon. It is named after a pre-historic looking fish that is found in our lakes and rivers.
We will hike about 2.5 miles by the light of the full moon. As we explore parts of Seven Islands, we will discuss the nocturnal animals that live in the park and look for evidence of them as they emerge from their daytime hiding places.
Please bring a flashlight or headlamp with a red light option if you have one. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
