We are excited to host a double LAUNCH event with local author Joy Nelkin Wieder at Oktoberfest! Joy will be celebrating her two newest books: Hanukkah 1-2-3!: A First Counting Book, illustrated by Aura Lewis, is a unique board book celebrating the holiday of Hanukkah; and The Mouse Who Loved Latkes, illustrated by Joy herself! When the Katz family moves in, C.J. the mouse is scared...until he is drawn into their Hanukkah celebrations and makes some new friends.
This event will take place at Gardner Field, 550 Mass Ave. in West Acton -- just around the corner from The Silver Unicorn Bookstore and across the street from True West.
Oktoberfest is sponsored by the West Acton Village Merchants Association.
