A Debreceni Virágkarnevál ünnepi hetének egyik legnagyobb szabadtéri zenei eseménye: Elvis Show – A Király, Elvis Presley, a Debrecen Big Band produkciója.
Egy este, ahol megelevenedik a Rock 'n' Roll legendás alakja, a 90 éve született Elvis Presley, aki a mai napig a világ egyik legismertebb és legnagyobb hatású zenei ikonja. Grammy-díjas művész, akit méltán nevezünk a Királynak – és aki nemcsak Amerikában, de Magyarországon is tiszteletet érdemelt ki: 2011-ben posztumusz Budapest díszpolgárává avatták az 1956-os forradalom melletti kiállásáért.
Az est különlegessége, hogy a 20 éves, Csokonai-díjas Debrecen Big Band új, erre az alkalomra készült hangszerelései szólalnak meg olyan neves hazai előadók tolmácsolásában, mint:

A koncertet látványos koreográfiákkal színesítik a Valcer Táncstúdió táncosai, akik több mint két évtizede dolgoznak együtt a Debrecen Big Band-del. Közös produkcióik számos rangos díjat, köztük Virágkarneváli 1. helyezést is elnyertek az évek során.

One of the biggest outdoor music events of the Debrecen Flower Carnival festive week: Elvis Show – The King, Elvis Presley, performed by the Debrecen Big Band.
An evening where the legendary figure of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley—born 90 years ago—comes to life. He remains one of the world’s most famous and influential music icons. A Grammy-winning artist, rightly called The King, who earned respect not only in America but also in Hungary: in 2011 he was posthumously named an honorary citizen of Budapest for his support of the 1956 revolution.
The special feature of the evening is the 20-year-old, Csokonai Award-winning Debrecen Big Band’s new arrangements created for this occasion, performed by renowned Hungarian artists such as:

The concert is enhanced with spectacular choreography by the dancers of Valcer Dance Studio, who have worked with the Debrecen Big Band for over two decades. Their joint productions have won numerous prestigious awards, including first place at the Flower Carnival over the years.
