The Second Half of Life: A Creative Retreat for a Time of Deep Change
Advertisement
The second half of life begins with all manner of changing circumstances as we reconsider who we are apart from our roles, occupations, and the past. During our time together we’ll explore the transformative possibilities of deep change through writing, discussion, creative play, and mindfulness exercises. Journey with us as we lean into Psychologist James Hollis’s belief that the second half of life is a time when people, “for whatever reason—the death of a partner, end of a marriage, illness, retirement, whatever—are obliged to radically consider who they are apart from their history, their roles, and their commitments.” Time to share written or other creative work is available, but never required!
