Our gathering begins with a guided walk through this storied landscape, culminating at Ail na Mireann — the Stone of Divisions — the legendary centre of Ireland. Here, tales of the land and its lore will be shared beneath the open sky. From the summit, take in breathtaking views that stretch across over two-thirds of the island, just as countless generations have before us. Together, we will offer blessings and intentions to the ceremonial fire. The celebration continues at Lough Lugh, where we honour the crafts, skills, and athletic traditions dedicated to the god Lugh. Witness a demonstration of Brollaidheacht — ancient Irish collar wrestling — and test your skills in one of the world’s oldest sports: Hurling. Try your hand at target practice or take part in the Long Puc challenge! As dusk falls, we return to our Visitor Centre for music and refreshments to keep the night going!
