What this workshop will cover
This lovely workshop will give you the time and support to learn an array of embroidery stitches so that you can use these to create different projects. Within this workshop you will be learning the following stitches: Chain, Stem, Laced Running, Couching, Pekinese, Double Knot, Twisted Chain, Whipped Back , Lazy Daisy and how to do French knots. You will use your calico or linen as your sampler and go home with it to recall the stitches for future use.
Who is this workshop for
This is a great workshop for beginners or those who want to refresh their skills.
Who is your tutor
Our very own Linda will be leading this workshop, who has lots of experience in leading workshops and sharing her crochet and embroidery skills.
What you need to bring
Please bring with you a basic sewing kit (including needles and scissors), 4-5 different coloured embroidery threads, a piece of light plain calico or linen, no more than quarter of metre. An embroidery hoop around 20cms. Or this can be purchased as a starter kit, please see when you get to checkout.
Other things you need to know
Please note that the workshops are held upstairs. Once upstairs, the workshop space is on the same floor as the kitchen and bathroom. Refreshments are included in the fee. The workshops at LilyBoo have bought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter.
