High School Grads Blanket Blessing

Greetings, Zion Family!
I wanted to invite you to a special 10:45 service on August 3, where we send off our high school students who graduated this past spring (Class of 2025).
We do an annual Blanket Blessing where students bring a blanket to church that will be part of a special blessing the Pastor will give to our students who are transitioning to the next phase of life! This is a special time for parents to stand at the altar with their graduate and to be reminded that their child goes forward wrapped in God's warmth and as His beloved child who is sent to be His witness wherever they go. They will also receive a Bible that the congregation will have an opportunity to highlight their favorite verses as a reminder that the students are loved by a great cloud of witnesses who are supporting and cheering them on back home.
Following the service is a lunch for the graduate and their families hosted by Zion's Youth Committee. If you or your student graduated as a member of the Class of 2025 and can attend this service and lunch, please contact me by Wednesday, July 30, so we can prepare an adequate amount for lunch and have enough Bibles.
I look forward to celebrating and sending off our high school graduates with you in a couple of Sundays!
For Him,
Barry Pfeiffer
Director of Discipleship
