About the Author:
Tracy Gardner is an award-winning mystery and women's fiction author. Her novel RUBY RED HERRING is a 2022 Mary Higgins Clark Edgar Award Finalist as well as a New York Public Library Best 100 book. Tracy also writes women's and book club fiction with heart and grit under the pseudonym Jess Sinclair. Her debut women's fiction novel WHAT WE COULD HAVE BEEN won the 2024 Storytrade Women's Fiction Award and USA Southeast Fiction Award. Tracy Gardner's current Shepherd Sisters Mystery series with Tule Publishing hits shelves this year in rapid-release style, with a new book publishing every other month, all year long. A BRUSH WITH MURDER comes out on August 20th. The cozy mystery series follows a trio of sleuthing sisters in a small Lake Michigan town and combines character driven family drama, swoonworthy romance, and art-themed mystery.
Tracy is a mother of three, the daughter of two teachers, and works as a nurse in her day job. She began writing stories around the age of five and recalls checking out the maximum number of books allowed every week from her community library, always finishing them long before the following week's return trip. Tracy can be found boating or bicycling with her husband around Lake St. Clair, where she lives with their menagerie of spoiled rescue dogs and cats.
