Music on Memorial-Featuring Josh Gilbert

Music on Memorial is an annual summer concert series. The concerts will take place at Peay Park which is located at 200 Memorial Drive. It showcases local artists in an exciting lineup throughout the summer and is free for all ages. Participants are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. Additionally, various local non-profit organizations and businesses sponsor a kids zone at each event, which is full of games for kids and families, and food vendors are at each concert!

Packing a Southern Rock/Pop, Blue & Americana sound, with positive, family-friendly, message some describe Josh as a splash of John Mayer with an upbeat tempo, a kick of Stevie Ray Vaughn, and a dash of soulfulness of Gary Clark Jr. and Marcus King. Josh has his own unique sound, however, influenced by guitar-driven acts of all different decades and styles. Hailing originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Josh has toured across the United States and Canada for over 12 years, with an upward of 2,000 performances to date. Josh's repertoire is family-friendly, and includes a variety of classics like CCR to Sting, modern tunes by Chris Stapleton to Ray Lamontagne.
