Widely regarded as one of the greatest concert films ever made, Stop Making Sense was directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Jonathan Demme and captures the energy of Talking Heads at the peak of their powers. Restored in 4K to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the 1984 film features unforgettable performances by David Byrne, Chris Frantz, Jerry Harrison, Tina Weymouth, and their incredible touring musicians. Filmed live at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater, the film includes the band’s most iconic songs.

Join MBT for a special public screening of this groundbreaking film, hosted by co-star and Talking Heads musician Jerry Harrison. This event features on-stage introductory remarks and post-screening commentary by Harrison, and an audience Q&A.
