Grow plants from cuttings

Would you like to be able to grow lots of new plants for free, to fill your garden, plant in community spaces and to give away?
We’re surrounded in Whanganui by perennial plants and shrubs that are easy to reproduce from cuttings. This hands-on workshop will give beginners the confidence to identify suitable plants, collect cuttings and successfully set them. Plant material provided, you'll leave with some cuttings to take care of.
If you have them, bring secateurs or a pocket knife and a couple of clean, small plastic plant pots; plus a small box or similar to safely get your pots home.
