V2V : Volcano to Volcanic - We invite you to join us for the 6th "I run for beer" fun run. A not for profit event to celebrate exercise, fun, getting together and craft beer.
Who can participate?
This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome to participate. All children up to 17 years of age are FREE.
What is the event?
The main event is a 10km run that will start at Picnic Point in full view of the iconic Tabletop mountain and meander through the scenic trails in the shadow of Tabletop mountain. It will then climb back into town finishing with a downhill canter through beautiful East Creek Park ending up at Volcanic Brewing. The much-revered brewery will have on tap its magnificent beers and food will be available. Friends, family and supporters are all welcome to come along to cheer the runners in and enjoy the camaraderie and fun that always exists at the end of this event.
There is a shorter 6km option for those wishing to walk or avoid the challenging hills of the run. This route takes you straight from Picnic Point down Long Street along East Creek Park to Volcanic Brewing. It is about an hour walk at a comfortable pace and this year we are adding a 4km option for parents with prams.
Who profits from this event?
This is a Not for Profit event - 100% of the profits will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Registration is available online or on the day from 11:00am onwards at the start. The event starts at 12 noon on Sunday 7th September 2025. Participants will get their wristband and T-Shirt (if you ordered one) at the start from 11:00am onward. At the end of the run redeem your wristband at Volcanic Brewing for a schooner of Toowoomba's best craft beer and quench that well-earned thirst.
