ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Linsey Pollak
Linsey makes music by live-looping self invented instruments such as a paper clarinet, a drinking straw oboe, a Cylisax, a rubber glove bagpipe and “Mr Curly” (a contra-bass clarinet made from hose sounding like a 70’s synth). Using these instruments he creates layers of music which will have audiences either spellbound or dancing in their seats.
Chanel Lucas and Jamie Clark
Warm, pure vocals and gentle folk guitar are Chanel’s signature sound. She has travelled across the world to the USA, Europe and China with Brisbane folk-pop act ‘women in docs.’ Jamie Clark is a guitarist, songwriter, composer, arranger and bandleader. He was CMAA Bluegrass Flatpicking Champion in 2011 and was described as “a cracking guitarist” by Rolling Stone Magazine.
