Heathland Wildlife and Migrating Birds including Osprey Guided Walk

Explore the stunning RSPB Arne Nature Reserve with us and experience the beauty of late summer migration, including the majestic Osprey.

As we stroll through the rare lowland heathland, our guides will lead the way, helping you spot unique heathland birds like the Dartford Warbler, Stonechat, and other fascinating wildlife that call this special place home.

Take in breathtaking views across the Middlebere Channel, a key inlet of Poole Harbour. It’s the perfect spot to watch Ospreys soaring above or fishing in the waters below. During August and September, these incredible birds pass through Arne on their migration route, thanks to the Birds of Poole Harbour (BOPH) translocation project. Poole Harbour’s rich fish resources make it a vital stopover for these impressive birds on their journey.
