This is a Purbeck Goes Wild event and is open to all families in Purbeck

Join Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust at Sandford Primary School to explore the heaths behind.

Let’s go on a reptile ramble around the heaths of Sandford – snakes and lizards live here, let’s go find them!

Please note, this walk involves some inclines and uneven terrain.

What to bring/wear: Trousers are recommended to reduce the risk of ticks. Please bring suncream/hat and shoes to walk off-road in. Note – toilets will be open but there won’t be anywhere to buy snacks/refreshments

All children must be supervised by an accompanying adult

Age range: 6-13

Bad weather plan – In case of poor weather, we will move to a sheltered area and learn about the reptiles of the UK using some photographs and models.

Location: Sandford Primary School
