Groom The Giant are a four-piece grunge rock band hailing from the hills of Llangollen and Wrexham. Self-proclaimed actual wizards and purveyors of post-traumatic rock, their sound blends grunge-laden grooves with a dose of sludgy stoner rock, all while flailing fearlessly into the depths of psychedelia. The result? Heavy, melodic riffs and hypnotic grooves conjured fresh from the ether.
Their debut single Young Machine dropped in March 2023, followed by the release of their first EP Culhwch in Spring 2024 - a concept record rooted in Celtic folklore and mythology. Now, the band are channelling their energy into a follow-up EP, set for release in Autumn 2025.
Most recently, they performed to a packed crowd at FOCUS Wales International Music Festival (See Live Video Here), and recently released their latest single, Wyrms, ahead of a follow-up EP set for release in Autumn 2025.
Groom The Giant’s live performances are a visceral experience – heavy, high-energy, and hypnotic. Their shows combine thunderous riffs, soaring melodies, and a magnetic stage presence that leaves audiences shaken and spellbound. Dressed in eye-catching costumes that capture the wild, mystical spirit of the band, they transform every set into something theatrical and otherworldly. Whether conjuring chaos in an intimate venue or commanding a festival stage, they have a knack for winning over new followers with every performance. They've brought their powerful live set to stages at FOCUS Wales, Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Llangollen Fringe Festival, and more – leaving a trail of wide-eyed converts in their wake.

Fleece are a band from Wrexham formed by a group of musicians who fell into each other’s paths performing on the city’s ever flourishing music and arts scene.
Led by the folky-yet -funky songwriting of lead singer and acoustic guitarist Jamie Hamlington, Fleece create a pleasant and playful world of tuneful textures and jazzy chord sequences, ranging from summery, semi-mellow pop-infused jingles to more adventurous, fuzz-filled instrumental exploits.
Following a string of well received debut performances in the closing months of 2023, the band huddled away into the studio over the winter to record 4 tracks, released as a debut EP in the summer of 2024.
