Live Jazz from Laura Lawton at The Gosling, Woking

Join us at The Gosling on Friday 29th August for a special evening of live jazz with the brilliant Laura Lawton, performing two one-hour sets from 7pm.

Classically trained at the Guildhall School of Music in London, Laura began her career in opera before following her deep passion for jazz. With her distinctive tone and rich musical background, she brings a unique warmth and depth to every performance.

Expect a beautiful mix of jazz standards made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Nina Simone, and more. Enjoy anything from ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, to Latin jazz including ‘Girl From Ipanema’ and ‘Desafinado’, plus some beautiful, less widely recognised, jazz pieces like ‘I Fall In Love Too Easily’, ‘It Could Happen To You’, ‘I’m a Fool To Want You’ and ‘What’s New’.
