£36 including all materials and refreshments. (Bookable only via Julia Sewell Made by Me. No 3rd Party booking agents are used).
Do you want to learn how to make something both beautiful and meaningful? Julia Sewell Made by Me has joined together with Susan Widlake from Mill House Millinary to bring you a very special workshop.
Susan has created a fabulous leather flower workshop. You will be taught a number of techniques, with tips and tricks in order to create these beautiful blooms.
Over the course of two hours, we will make the whole flower from scratch, cutting and stiffening petals, shaping them, then assembling them. You can choose to have your poppy as a brooch or a headband, or just leave it as it is and pop it in a vase.
The class is suitable for all levels. It may look delicate, but you will get very sticky fingers, so if you don’t like getting your fingers messy, this isn’t one for you.
There is a little bit of sewing involved, but don’t worry if you can’t sew, you will get help.
The cost includes all your materials to make at least 2 flowers and refreshments available throughout the day.
The venue is ground floor accessible and has parking on site. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits will be provided.
