Adam Pierończyk - Leading Polish jazz saxophonist, composer, bandleader and producer, Recognized by international media as one of the most interesting and creative European musicians and greatest innovators in Polish jazz.
As leader Pieronczyk has released almost 30 albums that have received numerous awards. He was named 20 times Jazz Forum magazine's Best Soprano Saxophonist of the year (journalist’s & reader’s POLL) and placed many times second and third as Best Tenor Saxophonist of the Year.

He has been nominated 20 times for Poland's Fryderyk award (Polish Grammy) in altogether 4 categories (Best Artist of the year, Best album of the year, Best soloist of the year, best composer of the year) , winning the 2 most important statuettes: Jazz Musician of The Year and Jazz Album of The Year.
Since 1998 Adam Pieronczyk has been one of the main endorsers (together with Branford Marsalis a.o.) for the german saxophone brand b&s / vmi. The company manufactured such great instruments as the B&S 2001, 2006 and medusa saxophones, which Adam still enjoys playing.

Adam Pieronczyk served as Artistic Director for the ‘Jazz aux Oudayas’ festival and ‘jazz au chellah’ festival in Rabat / Morocco (2005-2006),’ Sopot Jazz Festival’ in Poland (2011-2015) as well as ‘Krakow Jazz Week’ and ‘Jazz Juniors’ Festival in Krakow (2019-2023).

He has performed in BRAZIL, MEXICO, USA, japan, CHINA, Morocco, ISRAEL, KAZAKHSTAN, KIRGHISTAN, Russia, Iran as well as all over Europe: Poland, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, netherlands, luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, CYPRUS, united kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, norway, Czech Republic, slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, UkrainE, Serbia.
PIERONCZYK composes music for theater, teaches at workshops and gives master classes in different parts of the world (mexico, morocco, iran, italy, CYPRUS, switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Poland a.o.).
