Applique Workshop with Joy Bass

In this beginner friendly workshop, students will learn a hand sewing technique called "needle-turn applique." Instructor Joy Bass, president of the Withlacoochee Quilters Guild, will teach students how to transfer a shape onto fabric, cut it out, and then stitch it onto a background fabric using needle and thread. Different tips and tricks will be taught in this class, and students can look forward to instructor demos throughout the workshop. All supplies will be provided by the instructor. Each student will receive a pattern, fabric, and needle to keep.
