Arboretum Tree Identification Walk

Explore trees native to Illinois as well as species introduced to the area at an Arboretum Tree Identification Walk on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and Oct. 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Illinois Arboretum in Urbana. Meet in the Arboretum Parking Lot*. (Both sessions will cover the same material).
Join Illinois Extension Educator Ryan Pankau on an approximately half-mile walk to learn how to identify features for more than 10 tree species and discuss healthy practices for trees in your own yard. Students will leave with a renewed appreciation for trees and arboriculture!
$10/person. Register at https://allerton.illinois.edu/events/arboretum-tree-id-walk/. Registration will close one week before each course begins or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.
*Limited metered spots are available in the parking lot near the Noel Welcome Garden and along South Lincoln Avenue (electronic payment only by MobileMeter). Additional parking is available in the lot south of the Japan House.
