Please join us for our monthly Sunday pop-up theme class: All Mat Asanas.

Coming down to the mat in yoga offers numerous benefits:
-strengthening and stretching various muscles including arms, shoulders, wrists, chest, back, hips and legs
-improves flexibility and range of motion which can improve posture, as well as enhance body awareness, alignment and stability, improving overall body consciousness
-serve as a foundation for many other yoga asanas, toning the spine by engaging it in a neutral position
-therapeutic applications assist with posture correction
-help calm the nervous system and reduce stress -elevating the legs in some variations can improve circulation and reduce swelling in the lower extremities, release tension and reduce pain.

The entire class will be down on mat. As with every physical activity, please obtain your Dr's approval before participating.
