Popsicle with a Cop

The Purcellville Police Department is hosting our popular Popsicle with a Cop event on Friday, August 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Purcellville Sportsplex located at 310 N 21st Street, Purcellville, Virginia. Based on our traditional “Coffee with a Cop” events, which encourage community members to engage in conversations with police officers in an informal, neutral space to build and grow relationships, Popsicle with a Cop provides the opportunity for officers and citizens to converse and enjoy a favorite summertime treat of popsicles!

Residents are invited to join members of the Purcellville Police Department for free popsicles and some friendly conversation. No agenda and no speeches, just a delicious treat and chatting with your neighborhood officers.

This event is being hosted by the Purcellville Sportsplex, which will also allow community members the chance to engage in some friendly sports competitions with our officers, once the popsicles are eaten. The Purcellville Sportsplex has three courts to explore, which support multiple sports including tumbling/gymnastics, basketball, pickleball, and visitors can participate in nerf gun battles against the officers (with parent’s permission!).
