PopCon 2025 - Ballarat's Annual Pop Culture Convention
Popcon is Sonika’s annual pop culture convention, back for our sixth installment!
A space to come together and express appreciation for everything pop culture - from movies and tv to books and video games, fantasy, sci-fi, anime - there is something for everyone at PopCon!
All are invited to attend this FREE event! No tickets required!
11am - 4pm Sunday 28th of September
Civic Hall and Ballarat Library - 300 Mair Street, Ballarat Central
What you will find at PopCon 2025:
- A variety of different stall holders, including pop culture stalls, artists, fan clubs and associations
- Cosplay competition
- FREE crafty activities
- All day live action role play demonstration with Swordcraft Ballarat
- Tabletop gaming tournaments hosted by Good Games
- Just Dance!
- Chill space
- Music
- Food vans
- FREE photobooth
