MOBILE THERMOGRAPHY is coming to Wethington Family Practice on Thursday, August 7th. This screening is what many like to call a “green screening.” It is completely non-invasive—pain-free, radiation free. Although it has become popular with women as a breast health screening, both men and women use it as a safe and easy way to look for dysfunction in the body. It literally is no different than getting your picture taken except that thermography uses a highly sensitive infrared camera that detects dysfunction and inflammation in the body. It can help determine a source of pain, vascular issues, the condition of the lymph system, breast health issues, injuries and joint problems, and dysfunction in various organs including the thyroid, heart, liver and colon. And knowing these things can be valuable as you work with your natural health practitioner to develop a plan to reduce inflammation in your body and practice prevention.
