First Wednesday is a monthly community mixer in Ventura County founded by Bob Davis in 2013. Originally started as a casual cocktail hour for real estate professionals, it has grown into a well-attended fundraising event supporting local nonprofits. Held on the first Wednesday of each month at rotating venues, the event combines networking, socializing, and philanthropy. Organized by Davis and the Friends of the Board of Realtors, it has raised over $70,000 to date, with 100% of proceeds donated to various local causes.
This month, Ventura Ronald McDonald Family Room is the beneficiary of First Wednesday. The event will take place on August 6th at 4:30pm at Rock & Drams in Ventura. There will also be raffle tickets and cocktails available for purchase.
