Doors at 6:30, cameras on at 7, everyone out of the building at 8:15. Open mic is run in rounds time permitting, bring extra material!
Venue is UMA at 145 Pleasant st in Malden. This is a televised open mic and feature with full episodes airing on public access TV and uploaded to YouTube. Talk to the producers if you’d like a clip of your performance for your socials.
Dave lives in Salem, MA with his wonderful wife and the memory of their small disagreeable dog. He writes and performs poetry, stories and music at local open mics. Dave hosts the long running Speakup open mic at the Walnut Street Café.
A member of the Salem Writers Group and the Tin Box Poets, Dave’s work has appeared in the Merimac Mic Anthology, Whisper and the Roar, Oddball magazine, Ugly Writer, Brave and the Reckless, 3rd Wednesday Magazine, Wild Roof Journal, Riza Press, and Lily Poetry Review.
Dave is enjoying his return to playing chess with the great folks at the Newburyport Chess Club, Newburyport MA.
