In this one-day intensive, we’ll explore key concepts from professional acting training to develop:
Your stage presence and responsiveness
Ensemble awareness
Effective use of space and stagecraft
Vocal projection and technique
An actor’s approach to characterisation blending text and improvisation
Inspired by the work of acting greats including Stanislavski, Meisner and Uta Hagen, this course will give you an acting toolkit to take forwards and apply to your improvised and/or scripted theatre work.
This class will involve an exercise with a short text, for a unique experience exploring skills for both scripted and improvised performance.
Suitable for those with some improv experience or those with acting experience looking to develop their improvisation skills.
