"I finally did it!" featuring JJ Hayes

Radio host JJ HAYES from New Country 101.3 FM KFDI - Summit Media Wichita will share some stories, talk about a few key moments from his radio career, and discuss the two things that can get in the way of success and coincidence--or divine intervention?
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: JJ Hayes was born in England, moved to California when he was 7, and grew up in Maine from about age 11. He was a commercial fisherman in Maine long before radio. He's worked on landscaping crews, dairy farms, and in retail stores. Then, one night, radio came up in discussion, and he was off! He's lived in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Florida, Monroe, Louisiana (although he doesn't talk about that much…LOL), Virginia, and now he's here in Wichita, where he's been since 2014, and he couldn’t be happier. You may catch JJ Hayes In the Morning from 5 to 10 am Monday-Friday on 101.3 FM KFDI.
JJ lives in Derby with his wife Amy and furry kids: Rhodesian Ridgeback (Silas); Cat (Maverick), Cat (Leia); Pitbull (Gimli), and Golden Doodle (KC). He loves to cook, travel, and he's enjoying his new journey as a self-published author with four books under his belt and currently working on a 5th. (More info at koipondbooks.com)
