Music in the Parks: The Two Sundays Big Band

This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting The Two Sundays, a big band. The Two Sundays Big Band is a group of young musicians from around the twin cities area. The group enjoys playing a variety of styles from beloved classics to original arrangements. Formed in 2015, Two Sundays was initially a jazz combo headed by two sets of high school aged brothers (Conor Stoebner, Parker Stoebner, Austin Wu, and Eric Wu). The group slowly grew year after year, and in 2019 a big band was formed. They have since been performing every summer. For cancellations due to weather please check our Facebook page for updates.

Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
