Back-To-School Carnival 2025

We are excited to announce the 4th Annual Back-to-School Carnival & Backpack Giveaway, proudly presented by 2nd Chance Outreach, GlamLife Events, KMOJ, North Commons, SEECCAA, and the Harold Mezile North Community YMCA. This family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at North Commons Park.

Our mission is simple but vital: to help ease the financial burden many families face during the back-to-school season by providing 1,500 students with backpacks filled with essential school supplies.

In addition to the backpack giveaway, families will enjoy a vibrant community celebration featuring:

• Free food, games, and entertainment
• Health screenings and wellness resources
• Job opportunities and career services
• Community program information
