Sunflower

The sunflower is a symbol of beauty and hope. The songs for this dance have come with prayer, garden, dance, roots, flower, mystery, expansion, heart and childlike joy and wonder. I'll dance to that! And I look forward to dancing in beauty and hope and whatever comes ... together <3

10:00 am - invitation to community to prepare
our dance space
10:30 am - warm up begins
11:00 am - opening circle and main dance
12:30 am ish - closing circle
- If you’re new to ecstatic dance and come before opening circle, let someone know, and we’ll be happy to welcome you and answer any questions.
- If you come for opening circle, all dance, consent and comfort guidelines will be offered and again, you are welcome to ask questions!

A few tips:
- Dress comfortably.
- Feel free to bring water or snacks. (A large jug of drinking water is provided.)
- We dance sober.
- We don’t wear shoes on our wonderful dance floor to protect it.
- There is no fee to dance, but donations help us to improve our dance space and The Interchange.
