Solo artists:
Jack Robertson writes indie/pop music with a folky undercurrent. He has independently released original music and has performed frequently across his home city of Auckland. His last two singles of 2024 topped the New Zealand Apple iTunes charts, and his stage-ready Pop anthem ‘Easy’ caught Robertson a record deal with Riverine Records.
Merlia is a duo comprised of singer songwriter/actor Merlia de Ridder and multi instrumentalist/producer Austyn Mills based in Tāmaki Makaurau and Whangārei. Merlia’s classical and musical theatre training meets modern moody pop sensibilities to invoke a dark yet dreamlike set of pop and folk textures.
Jasmin Fisher-Johnson is a performing artist born and raised in Whangārei. With a strong background in Contemporary dance and theatre Jasmin also loves to compose and sing her own original songs accompanied by her trusty ukulele.
Sophie Guptill, known as Paperwalls, is a queer multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter from New Zealand whose pop/rock music explores heartbreak, loss, and love, resonating deeply through her vulnerable lyrics and heartfelt melodies.
