๐ป๐ TIERRO Band with Bridget Law blends global rhythms with Americana soul, creating a genre-defying sound they call Roma Grass. This five-piece powerhouse features musicians from distinct musical worlds, coming together to craft an electrifying, soul-stirring experience.
Formed in 2012, the band features Colorado fiddle favorite Bridget Law (of Elephant Revival) alongside Tierro Lee (KanโNal, Otis Taylor), whose guitar melodies bring a world-beat flair. Charles Parker Mertens adds depth on upright bass, drawing from jazz, Indian ragas, and time with Thievery Corporation. Jonny Jyemo anchors the rhythm with his globe-spanning percussion, and Nabin Shrestha, a tabla master from Nepal, infuses ancient textures into the mix.
TIERRO Band takes audiences on a musical journey thatโs both expansive and intimateโa sonic adventure that crosses cultures and stirs the spirit. โจ
