"Live From Brattleboro" Shawn Magee and guest singer songwriters

Peter Siegel, founding member of The Gaslight Tinkers hosts local seasoned/touring songwriter acts on the first Sunday of every month at the new Marigold in Brattleboro. On August 3rd the event will be guest hosted by Singer Songwriter and songleader Shawn Magee. Shawn is a masterful lyricist with deep musical roots. He was known as a part of the Barbary Ghosts, a well known sea chantey singing band from the west coast. Here in Brattleboro, Shawn has been a prolific and poetic songwriter telling deep stories and conveying heartfelt passion. He'll will be joined by two other local songwriters TBD.

Backstory: During the Pandemic, Peter Siegel hosted a livestream from his porch in downtown Brattleboro with one local guest musician a week. This was a showcase of the amazing talent within a "stone's throw" of Peter's house with hundreds of viewers around the world tuning in for almost two years. This is an in-person monthly revival of that series.
The event is free though donations will be welcome.
