2025 RMEF Michigan Rendezvous

RMEF will be providing breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and Burgers on Saturday night. Lots of folks go look for Elk as well.

Saturday 9-6 schedule
8:00 am- We will have breakfast burritos @ Elkwood before we leave to meet the DNR @ the Headquarter Building of the Pigeon River State Forest

9:00 am- Leave the campground in caravan and try and carpool best we can to head to the Headquarter Building of the Pigeon River State Forest

9:30am to 12pm- Removing several old exclusion fence at this in the Pigeon River Forest. A group of 5-7 volunteers will go to different location with team leaders the DNR will assign to remove these exclosures.

12pm- Return to the Headquarters Building for Lunch and a tour of the Pigeon River Discovery Center, an educational building directly behind the Headquarters.


6:00pm- Burgers on the flat top at Elkwood for RMEF Volunteers. Bonfire and fellowship. Please register if you are attending so we can have ahead count for meals at the campgrounds using this link: https://events.rmef.org/shop/michiganstate2

Tools needed are heavy work gloves and heavy duty wire cutters if you have them.
