"From Real Life to Fantastic Fiction" with Amy Makechnie

Amy Makechnie, author of multiple critically acclaimed middle grade novels will be presenting “From Real Life to Fantastic Fiction.” In this presentation, Makechnie shares her journey on how she became a writer and where she came up with the ideas for her stories. She encourages the youth to think creatively about their own life and stories and how they too could become writers. There will be time for Q&A’s, and books will be available to purchase and have autographed. While this presentation is geared towards youth under 12 years of age, all are welcome.
