'The Secret Things Belong To God'

Life is full of the unseen, the unknown and the unresolved. And unless the Lord chooses to explain Himself to us, which often He does not, His motivation and purposes are beyond us. What this means in practical terms is that many of our questions, and especially those that begin with the word ‘Why’ will remain silent for the time being. We must accept that only eternity will we be able to find the rhyme or reason too many of the most perplexing questions. The Lord’s encouragement is that over and over His Word implicitly declares, specifically directs, or indirectly implies, ‘the just shall live by faith!’ There are some things that we just have to trust that He will reveal, if He so chooses. If not, once again, that is His choice and that too, we must accept, by faith.
