Sierra Railroad No. 34 turns 100!

Visit Railtown 1897 State Historic Park on Saturday, September 13th to celebrate the 100th Birthday of the historic Sierra Railroad steam locomotive No. 34! Join us at 10:00 A.M. for a brief presentation at the Roundhouse highlighting the history of this historic steam locomotive and its journey from birth to preservation. Sierra No. 34 will be on outdoor display with interpretive cab visits available throughout the day, along with souvenirs and complimentary Birthday cake for attendees. "You only turn 100 once", so don't miss out on this special occasion!
