A Different Thread

An evening of original music with roots in Folk, Blues, Americana and Alt-Country. Robert Jackson (UK) and Alicia Best (NC) first met busking on the streets of Ireland and that chance encounter sparked a musical connection that has spanned a dozen countries over the better party of a decade. While inspired by artists like Gillian Welch, The Avett Brothers, and John Prine, A Different Thread maintain a distinct sound that is all their own.
