The Sissinghurst Series presents author, gardener, and floral artist Arthur Parkinson.

Friday 26 September | 3pm - 4pm
£22.50 (early bird tickets available until 1 August)

Arthur shares his evocative approach to flowers and gardens in a richly visual talk that celebrates the freedom, beauty, and emotional power of nature.

Drawing on his deep love for garden-grown blooms and the romance of relaxed, seasonal arrangements, he will speak about the gardens that inspire him, including Sissinghurst, and his own floral creations throughout the year.

The talk will be accompanied by a flower arrangement demonstration, offering a sensory and engaging experience for guests.

This event is part of The Sissinghurst Series for 2025, a series of horticultural experts speaking on topical issues in the gardening world today.

About the speaker:

Arthur trained at Kew and has worked alongside some of the UK’s most beloved garden voices. He is known for his vibrant books, his work with Sarah Raven, and his appearances on Gardeners’ World and BBC Radio 4.

Arthur’s practice is grounded in a love of wildlife- friendly gardening and a belief that flowers bring emotional connection, creativity, and joy. Expect a celebration of colour, freedom, and the gentle drama of garden life, with dahlias likely in full, glorious swing.
