Lisa Selle is a Denver-based singer/songwriter who comes from a Colorado prairie small town. She is also a high school English teacher, a mom, a reader of books, a gardener, and a little bit of a hippie. Lisa plays regularly around south Denver, where fans enjoy unexpected mash-ups, unlikely acoustic covers (for a middle-aged white lady), as well as originals. Rock for the People is a local nonprofit that offers free and low-cost rehearsal, recording, marketing services, and paid gigs for musicians and performers, plus paid opportunities for aspiring audio professionals. They prioritize serving and working with women, non-binary people, BIPOC, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+-identifying musicians, performers, audio professionals, and fans.
The End Lafayette at Dog House Music Studios is a cozy 75-person live music venue nestled inside the recording studios of Dog House Music. Our shows are intimate affairs where each guest is invited into the recording studio to experience small batch local live music. Many of the bands and artists on stage have written, rehearsed, and recorded their music right from the studio you'll be standing in! We support and promote Colorado bands and artists who are creating and re-inventing the Colorado music scene, and we invite you into the studio to have a listen!
