Frights & Freedom 5k

The Frights & Freedom 5K is a costume-themed charity race hosted by Flower Mound Plastic Surgery and Live Young Wellness Spa, a proud Veteran-owned business. Taking place on October 18, 2025, this fun and festive event supports the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides critical support to the families of America’s elite military forces. Whether you’re running, walking, or just showing off your best Halloween costume, everyone is welcome—no athletic experience needed. Join us for a morning of fun, community, and honoring our nation’s heroes. Registration opens at 7 am, and the 5k will start at 8 am.

Awards given: $100 cash prizes for: Best Costume Award (1 winner), Most Creative/Weirdest Costume Award (1 winner), one overall winner for each gender (male and female) for the following categories: Under 18, 18-40, and 40+
